Pathway 1: Apply for a Placement Through CareerHub

This pathway lets you apply for approved placement roles advertised by the Business School.

How to apply

Log in to CareerHub using your Student ID.
Search for “BUSN3002” under Jobs to find approved placement opportunities.
Submit your application (resume, cover letter, and any requested documents).
Monitor your email for updates—some roles require interviews or additional steps.
If you secure a placement, notify the Business School immediately at workplacement-nbs@newcastle.edu.au so it can be logged in SONIA.
Once confirmed, complete all SONIA requirements before commencing your placement.
