Biological Mass Spectrometry

Our top-of-the-line Mass Spectrometer combines three mass analysers into a single intelligent system. It is designed for higher throughput, while still able to discover and profile molecules from the most complex sample types in proteomics, metabolomics, small molecule and biopharmaceutical analysis.

Combines a quadrupole mass filter with a high-field Orbitrap analyser. This hybrid configuration is ideal for discovery and quantitation from complex sample types that do not require the advanced fragmentation, computing and MSn features of our Eclipse Tribrid Orbitrap.

An older version of hybrid Quadrupole Orbitrap LC/MS. This system is dedicated to more basic workflows that do not require the advanced features of our latest generation of Orbitraps. Perfect for generating IDs from gel plugs or for High-Resolution accurate mass measurements.

The QTRAP 6500 can function as both a standard Triple Quadrupole for MRM based quantitation, or as a Linear Ion Trap for qualitative analysis.

This system is dedicated to pre-fractionate samples ‘offline’ prior to their introduction to our online Orbitrap LC/MS systems. HILIC and high-pH fractionation options are both available.

This technique is used where the maximum identification of peptides/proteins is required from extremely complex sample types.
