Zero Hunger

        Staff Hunger Interventions
The University provides several interventions to prevent or alleviate hunger among staff. Throughout 2024, these included:
- Free food at events: Staff are provided with free food during catered work events and University functions.
- Leftover catering redistribution: Leftover food from catered events is made available to staff, helping reduce food waste and support those who may benefit from access to extra meals.
- Access to food services and community events: Staff can participate in University-organised events such as BBQs and free breakfasts, often hosted through the UNSA pantry and other campus services.
- Cost-saving resources: The University also shares information and tips on how to reduce grocery expenses, supporting financial well-being alongside food access.
These initiatives reflect the University's commitment to staff welfare by addressing food security in practical and accessible ways.
