Shane Darwin is the CEO of JBHXR, a startup which integrates virtual reality tech with training to significantly enhance the learner experience. Being at the forefront of the VR learning industry, Shane implements experiential learning/immersive learning technology to support a range of educators.

JBHXR take learning experiences that may be too costly or can't be done in the real world, such as assimilating electrocutions in the workplace, and converts them into a format to enhance the learners’ experience using virtual reality and extended reality. As part of the City of Newcastle’s New Move program, Shane recently relocated to Newcastle to scale up JBHXR in the region, with the support of I2N.

JBHXR creates innovative extended reality (XR) training products, providing immersive content-rich learning and assessment solutions, with a focus on learner engagement, knowledge transfer and retention.
