The University of Newcastle is making the switch to the latest version of the EndNote bibliographic management software, moving from EndNote X9 to EndNote 20.

The Library has laptops for loan. Now you can grab one and go work anywhere in our beautiful building with all of our powered study zones!

A new installation of artwork is now available to view in the Flowers Room in the Auchmuty Library on level 4.

The Library's Subject Resource Guides provide clear and concise advice at the subject level about the best research databases, online resources, ebooks and more for your study area.

Vera Deacon OAM (1926 – 2021) brought Newcastle’s history to life. Vera Deacon left an indelible mark on her beloved city of Newcastle and most certainly the University of Newcastle. Vera tirelessly championed the safeguarding of our region's history and shared her stories and passions with many.

A collection of intriguing fraternal society memorabilia – the largest of its kind in Australia – has been donated to the University of Newcastle, shedding a unique light on history dating back to 1829.
