Photo competition winner
Thanks to all who entered the recent #uonthemove staff photo competition. With close to 100 entries, the competition generated quite a buzz among staff, making it a great success.
The competition was a fun way to raise awareness among staff of the changes to Current Staff web pages and to celebrate the completion of the web site redevelopment project. It was great to see so many people getting involved.
The winner is...
The judging panel unanimously named Anthony Fowler from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as the competition winner.
The panel agreed that Anthony's image of "the University's research at the nanoscale" cleverly aligned our identity with innovative advances in research - reflecting some of our key strategic objectives in one self-explanatory image. The gold logo in the image is just 0.8mm wide.
Congratulations to Anthony who has won an iPad mini for his entry.
Highly commended entries
Congratulations also go to our six highly commended entries, all of which the judges felt captured a unique interpretation of #uonthemove.
From hands-on learning to international work experience, from our strategic objectives to good old fashioned fun on campus - these images tell some great UON stories.
All winners will be notified by email. Highly commended entries receive a $20 Coles/Myer gift voucher.
