Did you know the Callaghan Pharmacy can service staff at NUspace, Ourimbah and HMRI?

All staff can access the Callaghan Pharmacy online store, which provides free on campus delivery for any order over $10.

"We don't just deliver at Callaghan - we use the internal mail to deliver free to NUspace, Ourimbah and HMRI," pharmacist and manager Stuart Shortland said.

Stuart said the team is happy to make it as easy as possible to service the needs of the campus community. Scripts can be emailed through (and the original sent via internal mail) and many staff choose to leave their scripts at the pharmacy for repeats to be delivered as needed.

"It's as simple as sending us an email to let us know you are ready and one of the team will bring it over to you. Our portable eftpos machine means you can pay at your desk," Stuart said.

The full service pharmacy also provides:

  • free webster packing - good for older staff or staff who manage their parents' medication
  • a wide range of personal products
  • services including ear piercing, flu vaccinations, herbal consultations, medical certificates as well as IVF and HIV medications
  • cheap household items such as washing powder/dishwashing liquid/toilet paper

An on-campus chemist was established in October 2013 on the basis of long-standing feedback. Staff are encouraged to support Stuart and his team to ensure we can continue to provide this service for our community. The Pharmacy is located on the Lower Ground Floor of the Shortland Building on Union Lane.
