Central Coast gets BOLD with new video lab
The BOLD Lab have set up a video recording suite at the University's Ourimbah Campus, similar to the One Button Studio and Control Room recording suites.
The new Ourimbah facility will allow staff to quickly record videos in two configurations. The first will capture head and shoulder videos, with the optional use of a teleprompter, for course introductions, assessment instructions, feedback or updates. The second will help staff create mixed media videos more suited to instructional video, and that include head and shoulders, PPT slides and drawing and annotation.
The suite will be particularly useful to staff in the process of blending their courses and a group of Central Coast academic staff got to see first-hand the capabilities of the new lab when they attended the launch earlier this month.
To make a booking to use the Ourimbah suite, please contact Bold Lab manager Luke Boulton on 4921 5006 (Ext 15006).
