ACCUHO visits UON
On 10 April, UON Student Living welcomed a visit from members of the Australian Association of College and University Housing (ACCUHO).
Hosted by the ResLife team, the group enjoyed morning tea and a presentation of the ResLife program at UON, before a tour of the residential accommodation.
ACCUHO is a professional organisation whose vision is to be recognised as the body that sets the standards for student housing in Asia Pacific.The delegation of sixteen, en route to attend the ACCUHO conference in Brisbane, represented various Australian universities, as well as Lincoln University (New Zealand), Edinburgh University, Plymouth University and the University of Sheffield (UK).
Bríd Corrigan, Acting Residential Life Manager said the delegation showed great interest and enthusiasm in initiatives within the RESLife program.
"They were particularly interested in learning more about ResWise initiatives and the upcoming Future Leaders Program for residents," Bríd said.
"There was great admiration for our new accommodation and our beautiful bushland campus setting."
