Celebrating Students Making a Difference
Students who get involved in uni life above and beyond their time in the classroom make a world of difference to the UON community. It’s this engagement in campus life and professional development that paves the way to a successful future.
At UON we take pride in the achievements of our students who make a difference to UON life. The Student Engagement Awards is where we celebrate them.
Congratulations to Scott Howard who was awarded the Learning and Teaching Student Recognition Award at the Student Engagement Awards presentation event held on 7 November 2019.
Scott was selected due to his leadership in undergraduate mathematics and statistics, including managing the volunteers for the student-led Maths Clinic. Scott also recently assisted the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences with the transition to their new teaching spaces due to the reopening of the Mathematics building.
Scott is studying Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Mathematics. Thank you for your valuable input to the University community.
