Professor Honeyands, working in collaboration with Hatch and BHP, won the 2021 Hatch Best Paper Award for the Metals team for ‘Top Gas Recycling Revisited to Reduce Blast Furnace CO2 Emissions.'
The paper offers solutions to reduce blast furnace CO2 emission, one of the world’s larger decarbonisation challenges.
The award was announced during Hatch’s global awards. It should be mentioned that the competition and quality of the submissions for this award is very high.
Congratulations Tom and the CIMR team.
