Research commitment awarded by ARMS
Three UON staff have had their commitment to researchers recognised by the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS).
Lyn McBriarty from Research and Innovation Division was awarded an inaugural Fellow of ARMS, recognised as an individual who has made an enduring and substantial contribution to research management in the research management profession.
Jodi McLean, Faculty of Science, won the ARMS University Office Travel Award, used to attend the ARMS Wellington Conference in New Zealand.
There is only one Travel Award offered each year, and recipients are required to have successfully completed the Foundation Level accreditation program to apply.
Judy Alexander, Associate Director, Research Grants, was awarded for successful completion of the Professional level accreditation program.
The rapidly changing and increasingly complex research landscape requires research managers who can drive change in complex environments and lead diverse teams to fulfill institutional strategies and goals.
Congratulations to all three recipients who’ve been acknowledged for their dedication to research and researchers at UON.
