The Rhodes Scholarship is the world’s oldest scholarship – but that doesn’t mean it’s not for you. You might be surprised to discover what makes a Rhodes Scholar. So don’t just wonder, find out if you have what it takes.
Eligible applicants must have completed (or expect to complete in the year of application) an Australian Bachelor Honours degree (Australian Qualifications Framework level 8) or Australian Masters degree (Australian Qualifications Framework level 9 or 9E) or international equivalent with a proficiency level of first class honours or an equivalent mark of distinction for Masters students by no later than June 15 2018.
They must be aged between 19 and 26 on 1 October 2018 and have not applied for a Rhodes Scholarship two or more times before.
They must be Australian citizens and have been resident in Australia for at least two of the past 10 years, and have completed two years of schooling at an Australian secondary school.
