Innovation Excellence Award

Recognises and celebrates an individual or team who has demonstrated outstanding innovation that creates meaningful impact across teaching, research, engagement, or professional practice.

Innovation may include new or improved practices, programs, services, technologies (including artificial intelligence), partnerships or ways of working that benefit students, staff, the University or the communities we serve.

Nominees must demonstrate excellence in one or more of the following (max 500 words):

  • Innovation and creativity: Developing or implementing new or improved practices, services, technologies, partnerships or ways of working.
  • Collaboration and knowledge sharing: Bringing together people, disciplines or partners to co-design, develop or implement innovative solutions.
  • Leadership in innovation: Fostering a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement and innovation across the University.
  • Responsible and sustainable innovation: Demonstrating ethical practice and creates solutions that are scalable, sustainable or capable of broader application.
