Tips
- Capture the essence of your course in the introduction.
- Keep your content relevant and aim for simplicity.
- Be informative and let students know what the benefits are of doing the course. Explain how it will be useful in their careers, and what they will gain.
- Be clear on the course teaching and learning outcomes.
- Remember you are writing for the screen. Read it out aloud after writing to see how it sounds and tweak accordingly.
- Don't be afraid to use additional resources such video, images and text to reinforce the ideas you are raising.
Presenting
Now that you have prepared your script you should think about your performance in front of the camera.
