We manage and provide up-to-date computer facilities (hardware and software) to support teaching and learning activities.
Standard Computer Teaching Laboratories and student computing areas are located at:
We also support a number of specialist (non-standard) computer teaching laboratories for use by specific Faculties.
Requests for software can be made through the IT Service Desk and should be submitted by 1st December (for semester 1) and 1st July (for semester 2) each year.
We will evaluate requests for software outside these update periods on a case-by-case basis.
If your requested software is not covered by a University site licence, you will need to provide us with a licenced copy. When we have installed your software, we will contact you so you can test it prior to use in your class.
Data files required for teaching can be uploaded for use from the teaching labs.
Contact the 17triplezero IT Service Portal for this service.
All bookings for teaching labs are to be made with your Faculty Timetabling Officer.
