Professional Experience (Practicum, Placement or Industrial Experience) is a compulsory component of the following College of Human and Social Futures programs. Additional information has been included in the relevant School tab to assist you in understanding how Professional Experience is managed for your program.
The University of Newcastle uses an online platform SONIA to manage all Professional Experience placements. You can upload documents for clearing mandatory checks, access forms to complete for placement and final reports on SONIA. Log into SONIA Online
