Students are required to have completed Foundation courses in all KLAs and method courses in Literacy and Numeracy.

Quality Teaching, Equity and Diversity K-6

20 days

Continuing evidence of all Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

Meeting the needs of diverse learners.

Supervised teaching of whole class, which can be in an atypical or diverse setting or at location distant from the University.

Assessed by Supervising Teacher.

Students are required to have completed Foundation courses in all KLAs and method courses in all six KLAs.

Quality Teaching and Professional Practice K-6

50 days

Final evidence of all Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Reflection on teaching as a profession. Planning, teaching, assessment, evaluation and reporting.

Supervised and Unsupervised teaching of whole class. Assessment by Supervising Teacher and Tertiary Supervisor.

Students are required to have completed Foundation courses in all KLAs, method courses in all six KLAs and Advanced studies in Literacy and Numeracy.

*7-10 Curriculum methods for major and minor teaching areas (Stage 4/5)

*Completion of two years of discipline study

*Teaching Performance Assessment (NTPA)

*Phase 1 – moving towards Solo teaching (Week 1-4)

Assessment by Supervising Teacher and Tertiary Supervisor and Course lecturers.

Students are required to have completed Foundation courses in all KLAs, Early Childhood methods and a method course in Literacy
