The campus is less than five minutes from the M1 Pacific Motorway Ourimbah exit. Parking at this campus is free, however traffic and parking rules apply.
The holder of an RTA Mobility Permit displayed are eligible to park in Disabled, Staff and General car parking spaces. The permit must be clearly displayed on the front left hand side of the vehicle's windscreen at all times. Please note that RTA Mobility Parking Scheme conditions apply.
If you require closer parking due to a temporary medical condition, you can apply for a University disability access permit by contacting the AccessAbility team.
Carpooling is a great way to share fuel costs, reduce wear and tear on your car and limit carbon emissions. The University of Newcastle has partnered with Liftango to make it easier for students and staff to form carpools to our Central Coast Campus at Ourimbah through their exclusive app.
On campus there is 8 dedicated carpooling parking bays for Rideshare users that are closer to libraries, labs and lecture theatres than general parking.

Free motorcycle parking available in a designated motorcycle parking bays only.
Security shuttle bus
A free shuttle bus operates during the semester on Ourimbah campus Monday to Friday from 5pm to 10pm. The shuttle does not operate on weekends, public holidays, University concession days or during semester breaks.
The shuttle departs from the main bus stop on the Loop Road but will come to your location on request.
The service also extends to drop off and collection from Ourimbah Railway Station on request.
