Cycling is a great way to get to your daily life. Numerous on road and off road bike paths connect the campus.

Bike racks are available across campus.

The campus is less than five minutes from the M1 Pacific Motorway Ourimbah exit. Parking at this campus is free, however traffic and parking rules apply.
The holder of an RTA Mobility Permit displayed are eligible to park in Disabled, Staff and General car parking spaces. The permit must be clearly displayed on the front left hand side of the vehicle's windscreen at all times. Please note that RTA Mobility Parking Scheme conditions apply.
Carpooling is a great way to share fuel costs, reduce wear and tear on your car and limit carbon emissions. We have an online carpooling service to make it easier for students and staff to form carpools to our Central Coast Campus at Ourimbah.
On campus there is 8 dedicated carpooling parking bays for carpool users that are closer to libraries, labs and lecture theatres than general parking.
To signup and find people to share your journey, just visit our online carpooling system and fill in your details.
To get a permit, visit Infrastructure and Facilities Services between 8.00am and 5.00pm. Permits are issues free of charge on a first come first serve basis and there are only 80 permit available each year and you also need a valid paid permit to park on campus as Traffic and Parking rules apply.
Three persons is the minimum number to be able to use the carpooling bays and only use the bays if you are carpooling. Display the carpooling permit on your dashboard with a valid parking permit. The Carpooling permit may be withdrawn if carpooling rules are abused and are valid until the 31st of December.
In 2016, UON will be trialling a new rideshare app for both iPhone and Android.
Designed to make sharing a lift easier, the app will connect passengers with drivers in a secure and private UON network. Incentives are offered to drivers and all Ride Share participants will enjoy the benefits of premium parking positions around the Callaghan campus.
