Pricing
As of 2009 a subscription fee applies for the use of EMX unit facilities. This helps cover the cost of consumables and equipment repair.
The current fee is $500 per person and applies to staff and postgraduate students for access to all facilities.
Undergraduate students, honours and 4th year engineering students are free along with class demonstrations.
Initial investigations to check on the suitability of the techniques are free. It is assumed that users will be trained to use the equipment independently.
For casual users, payment of the fee will entitle the user to one day of staff time per instrument.
Please note: Our subscription system is currently under review (2013)
For further information on pricing, please contact the EMX Unit.
