Transport and parking
There are a range of transport options to all of our campuses and facilities:
- Newcastle campus (Callaghan)
- Newcastle City precinct
- Central Coast campus (Ourimbah)
- Port Macquarie campus
Parking for students
If you drive to Newcastle campus at Callaghan you can either:
- get a student parking permit
- pay a daily fee for General parking
- use the free parking in Carpark 16
- park in the temporary free car park on Oval No.5 (operational until April 2015)
To share the cost of fuel and parking you can also sign up for our carpooling system to share the trip to this campus.
Student parking at our Central Coast and Port Macquarie campuses is free. Public transport is advised for the City precinct and Sydney locations as parking is limited. Travel concessions for public transport are available for students.
Motorcycle parking in designated motorcycle parking bays is free on all campuses.
Mobility spaces are available in most locations and students with an RTA mobility permit can park in either Disabled, Staff or General spaces. No payment is required.
University disability permits are available for temporary medical conditions.
Traffic and parking rules apply on all campuses.
An environmentally friendly option for transport is to cycle to campus. There is a range of facilities and support available for bike riders.
