Our environment

Access and forms

General access

Your project officer or maintenance officer will give you instructions for access to our sites.

If you need a key, visit the Infrastructure and Facilities Services Office at Callaghan (Services building) or Ourimbah. Bring with you:

  • proof that you have completed all necessary inductions, and
  • photo identification and 100 point identification to confirm identity.

Access out of hours

Our normal operating hours are 7am to 5pm week days.

For access out of these hours (including weekends and public holidays), ask your University project officer or maintenance officer to arrange access through Security Services.

IT access

Apply for access to University IT systems

Maximo

Speak to your project officer or maintenance officer if you need access to our Maximo facilities management system.

Forms

Depending on the type of work you are doing, we have a range of forms that may need to be completed before you start work.

The University Contractor Induction tells you when you will need to use these forms. If you are unsure, contact your University of Newcastle project officer or maintenance officer.
