Tenants and Vendors
If you are an external partner entering into a lease or license to occupy a space (Tenant) or provide a service (Vendor) on a University site, your company must be registered in the University Beakon system.
The University of Newcastle uses the Beakon system to manage safety, risk, and compliance on its locations.
Your company will be required to have Public Liability Insurance (the minimum standard is $20 million).
Tenant and Vendor companies will invite employees who will be working on the University of Newcastle sites to register and complete appropriate inductions.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
