Prizes

In recognition of the work students invest in their business plans, the Newcastle Business School offers the following prizes:

Winner

$2,000 cash prize for the winning individual or team.

If the winning entry is a team, the $2,000 prize will be shared among team members.

Scholarship

A $2,000 scholarship for the winning student (or each student in the winning team) if they enrol in an eligible Newcastle Business School degree.

This scholarship is available to students who enrol in a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Business Analytics, Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events, or Bachelor of Commerce, including combined degrees that include any of these programs, at the University of Newcastle.

Finalists

$1,000 cash prize per finalist entry (individual or team).

If the finalist entry is a team, the prize will be shared among team members.

Certificate of Achievement

Students receive a graded certificate—Participation, Credit, Distinction or High Distinction—which may be used for
school recognition or to support their resumes and portfolios.
