The University Researcher Sponsorship scheme is a strategy to support researchers to facilitate career development through engagement with peers and professional leaders in their respective fields to obtain individual guidance and critical feedback.
University of Newcastle's Women Professorial Network (WPN)
The WPN has been established to provide an opportunity for peer-to-peer support and meet throughout the year, connect, form new collaborations and to mentor junior colleagues in an informal environment.
It is also a way to actively address the under representation of Academic Women at Researcher levels C and above in our Universities employment profile - offer support and guidance to Women progressing to senior positions at our University.
