Honours Research Students
Outstanding radiation therapy students have the opportunity to take part in year-long honours research projects, in collaboration with Liverpool Hospital and Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research, Genesis Care and Western Sydney Local Health District.
Outstanding radiation therapy students have the opportunity to take part in year-long honours research projects, in collaboration with Liverpool Hospital and Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research, Genesis Care and Western Sydney Local Health District.
Introduced in 2019, the Honours research projects have produced five published research authors in academic journals and six students successfully employed post-graduation.
The students have presented their research at many radiation oncology forums, including MedRad Forum 2022 and Australian Society for Medical Imaging in Radiation Therapy Conference 2022.
In 2023, Genesis Cancer Care and The Sydney West Cancer Network will be joining our Honours collaboration, generating more opportunities for students to enter the world of research.
