The CRC Program has been part of the Australian Government Research and Innovation agenda for 25 years supporting industry-led collaborations between industry and research organisations.

The CRC Program offers two grant schemes:

Scheme Overview

CRC Projects (CRC-P) CRC Grants
Short term (up to 3 years) Medium-long terms (up to 10 years)
Up to $3 million in CRC Program funds No upper level of CRC Program funding
Applications must demonstrate the ability to at least match (in cash or in-kind) the level of CRC Program Funding requested and provided.
Application must be submitted by a lead Industry Participant Application must be submitted on behalf of a group
Must have at least:
- two Australian Industry Entities including at least one SME (less than 200 employees);
- one Research Organisation
Must have at least one Australian:
- Industry Entity;
- Research Organisation
Must have governance arrangements which are suitable to deliver proposed results. Must be established as an incorporated company limited by guarantee

CRC Grants and CRC-Ps must be industry-led with Industry Growth Centres playing a strong role in relation to driving applications and reviewing investment proposals.
