Media Statement - Exercise and Sports Science relocation
We want our students studying Exercise and Sports Science to have access to the best facilities, teachers and researchers.

Given the world-class amenities at NUsport and opportunities for hands-on experience, the best way for us to offer that high quality education is to relocate the program to Callaghan.
The University continues to work through a consultation change process with staff and unions for the proposed relocation of the discipline of Exercise and Sports Science from Ourimbah to Callaghan Campus.
To ensure our current students can complete their course at Ourimbah without disruption, the relocation is proposed to occur over a five-year transition period, meaning students already enrolled at Ourimbah will not need to relocate.
We are committed to the Central Coast and continue to work with our government and industry partners to align our programs to industry and community needs. Programs at the new Central Coast Campus are expected to include degrees in education, business, social work, and will also provide opportunities through our pathway programs.
