New papers in top ranked journals
The Organisational Collaboration Research Group's research has been published in some of the world's top management journals recently.
Managing Inclusiveness and Diversity in Teams: How Leader Inclusiveness Affects Performance through Status and Team Identity published in Human Resource Management, was led by Rebecca Mitchell and Brendan Boyle, who report on a promising new leadership style – inclusive leadership, which is shown to improve multidisciplinary team dynamics and performance.
In The Divergent Effects of Transformational Leadership on Individual and Team Innovation published in Group and Organization Management we found that leadership can have different effects on individuals compared to teams, and in some situations the same types of leader behaviours can help teams but hinder individual innovation!
