Indigenous Business Handbook Launch
The Indigenous Business Handbook was officially launched on Friday 18 August 2023.
In Semester 1 of 2023, Tori Gill, Kyiesha Faulkner and Sophie Amanatides worked with the University of Newcastle Office of Indigenous Strategy & Leadership and the School of Law & Justice to create a Handbook for Indigenous individuals to use when thinking about starting their own business. The Indigenous Business Handbook is a resource that celebrates Indigenous culture and operates as a helpful legal tool. 20 students contributed to The Handbook over the years through Special Interest Topic Course (LAWS6091). On Friday 18 August 2023, the Handbook was officially launched with the community and stakeholders at Yamuloong Centre.
You can access the handbook here.
We encourage you to forward The Handbook to any contacts who may benefit from it. The Handbook was created to be shared around to those who will find it useful!
