Drawing from the rich archives held by the Auchmuty Library, the exhibition traces how local communities accessed and experienced health care—from hospital stays to home care — spanning the post-war era to the early 2000s.

Curated by Professor Catharine Coleborne, Dr Effie KarageorgosAssociate Professor Elizabeth Roberts-Pedersen, and Dr Ann Hardy in collaboration with Special Collections, the exhibition highlights stories of innovation, resilience, and care.
