Open Innovation 2.0
Win your way into the world of big business at DiG
Following the overwhelming success of the PwC Open Innovation Australia event held at the University of Newcastle earlier this year, a streamlined version - Open Innovation 2.0 will feature as part of the Design, Interactive Technology and Greentech (DiG) Festival program.
Open Innovation Newcastle, which brings the business and start up communities together to develop accelerated products and solutions to business problems, will run from 3-4 October and focus on the University of Newcastle. Competitors will conceptualise pathways for the world-class research and education facility to collaborate more easily with business operators on mutually beneficial projects.
Offering a streamlined format, the event will again offer a team of knowledgeable mentors including internationally renowned experts in design and innovation to assist competitors with their model and pitch. The winning team will also receive the opportunity to apply for a $15,000 grant to develop a Minimum Viable Product over 12 weeks and a chance to commercialise their solution.
In addition to gaining valuable exposure, Open Innovation 2.0 competitors receive preferential ticket prices for the 2 day DiG event, access to all festival events, and entry to the cocktail party prize ceremony.
Registration is limited to a maximum of ten teams. Submit your registration for consideration at Open Innovation 2.0
