Dr Ashish Malik Launches Books Internationally
Dr Ashish Malik has co-authored or edited three books, which were launched recently. The National Human Resource Development Network in Bengaluru, India hosted the event. Bengaluru is the IT capital of India, which is fitting as two of the three books focus on the Indian IT industry.
In the IT industry, high-end innovation relies on human capital development. These books explore human resource management in the IT sector in analyses aimed at best practice business models for long-term advantages for organisations. Dr Vijay Pereira from the University of Portsmouth in the UK and Dr Malik addressed academics and senior human resource professionals through an engaging panel discussion.
The books have earned the attention of several internationally respected academics and professionals who have written forewords and endorsements for the pieces of work. They include Dave Ulrich, the Rensis Likert Professor at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, USA and Professor Pal Ahluwalia, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), at University of Portsmouth, UK.
