2018 Careers and Employment Expo & NeW Space Networking Event
Over 700 students recently had the opportunity to meet future employers at the annual Careers and Employment Expo, hosted by UON Careers and Student Development Office.
More than 50 exhibitors attended the expo on 20 March, with many actively recruiting final year students for their 2019 graduate programs. Other organisations offered advice about their graduate and vacation employment, internship opportunities, scholarships and other programs that provide students the chance to gain valuable work experience with leading employers.
High profile organisations that attended include AmpControl, Defence Force Recruiting, Lendlease, Pitcher Partners, Australian Taxation Office and Transport for NSW.
Employers who attended the expo took the opportunity to speak directly with UON students and were able to target high-performing future graduates from all disciplines.
The Careers and Student Development Office also operated a resume review booth on the day to help students polish their resume and students were able to take advantage of the free LinkedIn photo booth.
Expo Networking Event at NeW Space
