Tax Appeal Raises Over $110,000 For Student Scholarships and Research
Thank you to every one of you who recognised the potential in our students and generously helped them to shine through our recent end of financial year appeal.
The appeal raised $113,114 to support student scholarships and research – an increase of 44.6% on last year’s appeal – with donations from staff, alumni and our community. Most of you chose to support the Shaping Futures Scholarships, along with twelve other funds to support our students and researchers.
As always, 100% of funds raised will go directly to supporting students and researchers.
Shaping Futures Scholarships help students who are most in need; where financial hardship, illness, caring responsibilities or a combination of factors puts them at risk of not completing their degree. Shaping Futures scholarships provide much needed support for students to overcome these challenges; giving them the opportunity to get the most out of their studies and achieve their dreams.
