Kyle Loades - New Professor of Practice

Professor Tony Travaglione has welcomed the appointment of Kyle Loades as a Conjoint Professor of Practice with the Faculty of Business and Law.

Kyle has previously guest lectured and given presentations in the Faculty of Business and Law to academic staff and students. His critical perspectives challenge conventional wisdom - such perspectives have been very welcomed by both staff and students who have had the opportunity to interact with Kyle.

“It is fantastic that Kyle will be a regular presenter in our new MBA program that we have recently restructured to include specialisations. Kyle will be assisting in our efforts to increase industry impactful research” Professor Tony Travaglione said.

Kyle's industry based knowledge is underpinned by a scholarly foundation that he built through his postgraduate and continuing professional education. His qualifications include an MBA degree at the UON, and professional training and education at the Harvard Business School and ANU.

“I’m incredibly passionate about this new role and the importance of contemporary education so that students graduate with the necessary skills to hit the ground running ready to deliver practical outcomes in growing or starting a business. Ensuring that students are receiving the right education based on the needs of an ever-changing industry will deliver benefits to the whole of the Hunter region and beyond in terms of successful business growth and employee satisfaction,” Mr Loades said.

Kyle is ideally placed to provide strategic support, access to networks and industry insights that will be highly valuable to the Faculty of Business and Law.
