Great ideas need great teams

The University of Newcastle's Grand Challenge is an annual initiative that encourages multi-disciplinary teams to develop solutions to complex problems. This year the focus is the circular economy, and the most compelling submissions share in $36,000 to bring their ideas to life.
Team Formation is where those teams start. It's a relaxed, hands-on session built for networking and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Whether you're already teamed up or turning up on your own, you'll leave with the right people beside you.
Who should come
Open to all University of Newcastle students, staff, academics and alumni within Australia, as well as the wider community. Teams are two to five people. Engineer, designer, business student, or simply someone who cares about sustainability: your perspective is exactly what a team needs. You don't need an idea yet, and you don't need to have been at the Expert Panel.
