        Library Placements Program
As part of our community engagement and commitment to the Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museum industry, the University of Newcastle Library welcomes applications for short, unpaid, work-based learning placements from tertiary students undertaking Galleries, Libraries, Archives and/or Museum studies; and from secondary students interested in the GLAM professions.
Our Library Work Experience and Student Placement program facilitates tertiary and secondary students to obtain valuable experience with real-life skills to complement their study.
Participating students will be able to observe and participate in essential functions and processes throughout the Library and Galleries.
