Book Launch: Agency and Ownership in Reconciliation
Caitlin Mollica
Please join Dr. Caitlin Mollica (Lecturer, Newcastle Business School) and the Centre for Law and Social Justice in a celebration of her book, Agency and Ownership in Reconciliation: Youth and the Practice of Transitional Justice, published by SUNY Press. Drawing on the cases of South Africa, Timor-Leste and Solomon Islands the book explores how reconciliation practices engage with young people as political actors. In conversation with friends and colleagues, Caitlin will explore the central themes of the book, and its relevance to the global pursuit of accountability for human rights violations today. Light refreshments and drinks provided.
