Celebrate National Science Week with Dr Karl

This public lecture will be held on Sunday 10 August 2025 starting 4:00pm

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Karl for an unforgettable National Science Week event where he will delve into the weird, wonderful, and mind-blowing world of science.

Dr Karl has degrees in Physics and Maths, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine and Surgery and has worked as a physicist, tutor, film-maker, car mechanic, labourer, and as a medical doctor at the Children’s Hospital in Sydney.

Dr Karl's ‘mission’ is to spread the good word about science and its benefits. His enthusiasm for science is totally infectious and no one is better able to convey the excitement and wonder of it all than Dr Karl Kruszelnicki.

This exciting event will also feature presentations from researchers at the University of Newcastle, followed by a chance to ask your questions about the world of science.

Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate all things science with us. We look forward to seeing you there!
