OHBM Australia - Hunter Neuroimaging Conference 2019

This event was held on Wednesday 16 October 2019

The Australian chapter of the Organization of Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) was launched in 2018 to identify out collective strengths and integrate our innovative brain imaging research. In 2019, the annual meeting will be hosted by The University of Newcastle, at the Hunter Medical Research Institute.

The meeting will be held across two days (Thursday 17th and Friday 18th October 2019) with a conference dinner held on Thursday night at the beautiful Merewether Surfhouse. An exciting workshop will also be held on Wednesday 16 October. The program has been coordinated to allow interstate arrivals and departures on the first and final day of the meeting.

The meeting features international key note speaker Sarah Garfinkel (UK) and two Australian keynote speakers - Alex Fornito (Monash) and Amy Brodtmann (the Florey).

In addition to our keynote and invited speakers, we welcome abstracts for contribution and poster sessions.

The meeting will also highlight an ECR session and a free ECR networking breakfast.

A lively debate will also consider the pros and cons of models versus machine learning.
