2016 University Mental Health and Well-Being Day

University Mental Health and Well-Being Day is officially Wednesday 27 April. University Mental Health and Well-Being Day aims to raise awareness of the mental health and well-being needs of those who study and work in higher education settings.
Activities at Ourimbah and Callaghan include:
Ourimbah - Tuesday 26 April
- 11.30am-1.30pm: Yourimbah, live music on the Sails Stage
- 12.30pm: Yourimbah SSAF lunch (soup)
- 11.30am-1.30pm: Yourimbah Stall, to include Your Gym Staff with hoola hoop games and stress ball making. Your Gym Team will be under the sail playing games and talking about the benefits of exercise for better mental health
- 11.30am-1.30pm: Knitting with Student Support
- 12pm: Mindfulness meditation for staff in AB214
- 3-5pm: Crafternoon, a craft table will be set up in the Café Bar, to include positive affirmation postcards, stress ball making and knitting
Callaghan - Wednesday 27 April
- 11am-1pm: Mental Health Expo in Auchmuty courtyard
- 10am-12pm: Stress Management and Building resilience Presentation, GH202. Please enrol via hronline for this event
