Introduction to Cogniti

All academic staff interested in using Cogniti to support their teaching and learning activities are invited to attend an initial “Introduction to Cogniti” session. This session will be run by Professor Danny Liu from the University of Sydney.

The session will cover:
  • What might AI do to help
  • Demonstrating some agents
  • Background on the Cogniti platform
  • Building an agent
  • Q&A

An additional “train the trainer” session covering advanced topics and common issues will run from 11.30am to 12.00pm. While this session is intended for LDTI and DTS staff, all attendees are welcome to participate.

About the Presenter:

Professor Danny Liu describes himself as a “molecular biologist by training, programmer by night, researcher and academic developer by day, and educator at heart”. He is one of the leading voices on the impact of GenaAI on higher education in Australia.

Danny is Professor of Educational Technologies in the DVC Education Portfolio at the University of Sydney, where he also co-chairs the University's AI in Education working group and leads the Cogniti.ai initiative.
