National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of us all and we as a University community should lead the way in our broader communities to build respectful relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Starting next week, Ourimbah and Gosford Campus are hosting a variety of events supporting National Reconciliation Week. This will include a morning tea at the Yarning Circle, a collaborative art workshop and a guided tour of the artworks featured at Gosford Campus.

To accommodate those wishing to attend the Gosford activations, the shuttle time has been extended to run from 7:30am – 3:00pm and 3:30pm – 6:00pm, Thursday 2 June 2022. Please note that shuttle seating is limited to 23 seats and access to the shuttle is on a first come, first serve basis. A mask must be worn indoors at Gosford Campus and a social distance of 1.5m must be maintained.

Please join us in exploring how each of us can contribute to Reconciliation.
