Alumni Award for Outstanding Volunteerism
The Alumni Award for Outstanding Volunteerism recognises individuals or groups who have contributed to the University of Newcastle as alumni volunteers.
These volunteers enhance our commitment to being a world-leading University for all of our regions through the values of excellence, equity, engagement and sustainability.
Nominees must meet the following selection criteria:
- Be classified as alumni of the University
- Demonstrate outstanding volunteerism to school, college, or alumni programs and/or other University activities or initiatives with significant impact.
Nominations for this award may only be made by staff of the University of Newcastle.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
