1. When applications are opened, click on the 'Apply Now' button below to access the application form.
2. Complete the form, selecting up to 3 preferences. You don’t have to select three preferences, but it’s a good idea to have a back-up plan in case you don’t meet the admission criteria for your first preference.
3. There will be a section in the application where you can attach any other relevant documents - see 'Supplying Additional Qualifications' below.
4. After you have entered all relevant information, selected your preferences and uploaded any additional documentation, make sure you press the submit button before the application closing date.

After you submit your application you will receive an email confirmation to your preferred email address with details of your application including the preferences you selected.

Educational Access Scheme (EAS): The University supports students who have experienced long-term educational disadvantage and recognises nine broad categories as outlined on the UAC website. If your current studies have been affected then please refer to the information available on UAC about EAS categories of disadvantage and required documents. A paper application form is available in the UON enabling to undergraduate degree application. Please complete this and upload, along with supporting documentation, as part of your direct online application.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Entry Scheme: If you identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you can indicate that you would also like to be considered under the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Entry Scheme. The Student Engagement team at The Wollotuka Institute can provide advice and assist with your application to an undergraduate degree.

Once you have submitted your application, you can change your preferences, add documents, or cancel your request by completing the following steps:

1. Log in to AskUON
2. Click on My Account on the right-hand menu
3. Scroll down to the My Applications section
4. Click on your application to open it
5. Make any changes then resubmit your application

All changes to your application must be made by the application closing date.

If you have other assessable qualifications that can be used to generate an admissions rank, you have the option of attaching them to your application. Examples of qualifications that can be used to generate a rank include:

• Certificate III
• Certificate IV
• Diploma
• Advanced Diploma
• STAT Test Results
• Tertiary Preparation Certificate
• Undergraduate Study at other Universities

If attaching qualifications to your application, please ensure you include any certificates of completion, as well as relevant transcripts. Please note that we can only accept colour copies of original documents, or copies that have been certified.

We will review any qualifications and incorporate them in the assessment of your application where applicable. Don’t worry if you don’t have any additional qualifications - most students don’t and we primarily just use results from your Enabling studies.

We take the course marks you achieved in your Enabling studies and convert them to an admissions rank. We then compare that rank to the admissions rank required for entry to your first preference. If your admissions rank is equal to or higher than the rank required for your first preference, we will make you an offer to your first preference via your preferred email.

If your admissions rank does not satisfy the rank required for your first preference, we will then compare your rank to the admissions rank required for entry to your second preference. If your admissions rank is equal to or higher than the rank required for your second preference, we will make you an offer to your second preference via your preferred email.

If your admissions rank does not satisfy the rank required for your first or second preference, we will then compare your rank to the admissions rank required for entry to your third preference. If your admissions rank is equal to or higher than the rank required for your third preference, we will make you an offer to your third preference via your preferred email.

If you don’t meet the rank for any of your preferences, and/or you haven’t selected a program from the Guaranteed Entry options (please see details below) we will be in contact to discuss what happens next.

It is strongly recommended that you include a degree from the guaranteed admission programs list in your preferences.

We will email and let you know if you were not eligible for any of your preferences, and advise what your options might be. All of our successful enabling program graduates are guaranteed an offer to a select number of degrees, so please take a look at what is available.

Unfortunately if you do not successfully complete your enabling studies we are unlikely able to offer you a place in one of our undergraduate degrees. In this situation we recommend you contact the Pathways and Academic Learning Support Centre on 1800 353 775 to discuss your options.

If you included documentation of other assessable qualifications as part of your original application, there may be an opportunity for you to be given an offer, if you meet requirements, even if you did not complete your enabling program.
