The University of Newcastle gives you the opportunity to live and study overseas for either one semester or one year. You remain enrolled and paying tuition at the University of Newcastle and earn credit towards your degree.

ELIGIBILITY
- At the point of application, the student must have completed at least 40 units of study in their current undergraduate program or be enrolled in a postgraduate coursework program.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 4
- Receive a minimum of 30 units of credit toward your program whilst overseas.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
In order to be considered for a semester exchange program, you must submit an application by the following deadlines:
- Semester 1:
- Round 1 Deadline*: May (of the previous year)
- Round 2 Deadline: August (of the previous year)
- Semester 2:
- Round 1 Deadline*: October (of the previous year)
- Round 2 Deadline: March (of current year)
* Applying before the Round 1 deadline will give students priority in preferred locations and first access to grants and scholarships. Applications will continue to be open on a rolling basis once Round 1 closes, however locations will fill up and close so get in early!
