Your Voice Survey
The Your Voice survey has been providing valuable insight into the employment experience at our University and informing workforce strategies and actions since 2003.
The 2021 Your Voice survey will run from 10 – 31 March.
About the survey
The Your Voice survey is a confidential online survey run by Voice Project - a third party research and consulting company that grew out of Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. Your Voice is used widely across the sector, which means we are also able to compare our results against a benchmark group of other Universities.
Who can participate?
Our University workforce is large and the employment experience is diverse. It is important that Your Voice captures responses from all corners of the organisation.
All ongoing, fixed-term and casual staff will be invited to participate. Two separate surveys will be run – one for the broader workforce and one that targets sessional academic staff. Some staff will be invited to participate in both surveys.
Agency staff will not be included.
Are responses confidential?
Yes. The survey is administered by Voice Project and the University does not know who has or has not participated. All responses are processed by Voice Project, who analyse the results.
Results are analysed at the whole University level, and also by College/Division and School/Unit. To protect the confidentiality of responses, results will not be analysed where there are fewer than 10 responses in a group.
Voice Project consultants are bound by the code of conduct and ethical guidelines of the Australian Psychological Society, and the Psychology Board of Australia.
