The University manages the renewal of its digital and physical infrastructure with an enterprise Portfolio Management framework that supports the prioritisation of strategic project activity and optimises return on investment.
Within the framework the Portfolio Resource Allocation Committee (PRAC) is the lead decision-making body. Chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, the Committee monitors the enterprise portfolio, identifies strategic priorities and confirms funding for new activities. A series of Strategic Program and Project Boards report directly to PRAC on progress against plan, risks, business change impacts and the realisation of benefits.
The Planning and Performance team supports the Committee and Boards and carries a quality assurance role. It also confirms the enterprise program management methodology and develops tools and templates to assist the university’s project management community.
